Five years after starting his quest to create the ultimate sunscreen, Erickson, opened the doors to Rocky Mountain Sunscreen. He spent those years interviewing several chemists, toiling over various formulas and searching for just the right components to build a successful sunscreen company.

The fruit of Erickson's labor is an elite sun protection product that's greaseless, waterproof, PABA and fragrance free and hypoallergenic. Fortified with aloe and vitamins A, D, and E, the product is formulated as a daily moisturizer - safe for daily use on the face and under women's make-up. The bonding base formula works by interlocking with the skin, unlike many other products that link with just the outer layer of skin. David Erickson started Rocky Mountain Sunscreen because of a strong desire to offer good, effective protection from the sun, and education remains a primary focus of what he does. The sunscreen manufacturer beat out several other large sunscreen companies for the contract. Though Rocky Mountain Sunscreen couldn't offer big money or a big advertising campaign for the contract, the company was chosen because of its high-altitude tested formula, a formula that the ski team feels it can stand behind.
