The bonding base formula works by interlocking with the skin, unlike many other products that link with just the outer layer of skin. It is especially effective for the active user because it won't clog the pores and will allow the skin to breathe and sweat.
Rocky Mountain Sunscreen products are certified sun protective. Rocky Mountain Sunscreen was the only non-clothing product featured in the American Cancer Society's inaugural catalog of sun protection merchandise.

What You Should Know About Your Children, The Risk Of Skin Cancer, And Rocky Mountain Sunscreen
Everyone loves to be outside on a beautiful winter day, especially children. But while we're out there, basking in the glow of the warm sun, we could be doing irreparable harm to our skin. In 2003, there were approximately 91,900 new cases of melanoma. This is a 4 percent increase in new cases of melanoma from 2002. In 2004, at current rates, one in 39 Americans will have a lifetime risk of developing invasive melanoma. The American Cancer Society says one person dies of melanoma every hour. In 2003, 7600 deaths will be attributed to melanoma - 4,700 men and 2,900 women. Children in particular must take care to protect their skin from the sun's damaging rays. Remember, it takes just one serious sunburn before the age of 18 to double a child's risk of eventually getting skin cancer. Skin Cancer Facts Page» |
